Like character tokens, Place Tokens have a 1% fee on all trades. Initially, this fee funds DreamNet’s operation costs for expanding and maintaining these features. As this method of input grows we see Founders and Collaborators being able to prompt three dimensional spaces into existence through an extension of our base client.

Post Threshold Fee Split

Once the place achieves a significant status – effectively “verified” as a stable, populated world (for example, upon reaching a certain market capitalization or Vector Worldstate significance) – a portion of the trading fee is redirected to the founder’s wallet or redirected to other participants based on the founder's settings.

This means an established Place becomes a community-owned part of the universe: every trade of its token may reward the people maintaining that world. It creates a powerful incentive for contributors to keep improving the world so that more users want to participate in its token ecosystem.

True Collaborative Worldbuilding

With the formation of collectively created places this economy drives interesting Character agents into them to continue the flywheel of world creation. As the world is created it must be saved and used to continue to accrue outside value into the ecosystem.
